I commit to the practice of upholding the principles of this pledge, to share the values of the pledge with others, and do my part to help build integrity and ethics into the heart of the emerging psychedelic field. In particular, I believe it is critically important to understand that all the legal work we are doing is based on the work and investment of time and energy of practitioners before us, both indigenous and scientific, who have worked tirelessly to understand the significant benefits of this medicine, and so we need to Study the Traditions in order to understand the path that has led all of us here. In addition, I believe my and our work should focus on Creating Equality and Justice, since what we learn from the medicine is that we can work to create a just and perfect world.
